Rob Basselgia: Lead Vocalist, Guitarist

Rob Basselgia was born and raised in Annville, Pa with a huge love for two major things… Eagles Football and Music. His passion for music grew so much that he eventually worked hard and saved up enough money, not on his first car… but his first guitar. Rob found a freeing outlet for his emotions through the strings of his guitar; the fact that he could create beautiful sounds from wood and metal fascinated and enthralled him enough to teach himself how to play. Finding inspiration in so many genres of music, it grew harder for him to ignore his calling. He listened to artists like Garth Brooks, Angus Young, and Brooks and Dunn, studying their methods until he had built a strong enough foundation to develop his own music career. In 2014, he started his own band, known as Fast Lane and has gone to newer and greater heights since then. Ironically, despite the fact that he’s left-handed and does everything else with his left hand- Rob plays guitar expertly with his right hand and is even teaching himself to play the banjo, also with his non-dominant hand!

Steve Eshleman: Bassist

Steve Eshleman is a Lancaster County native who developed a passion for music at a young age when he would listen to the music his brothers enjoyed. Steve has been playing music for as long as he can remember, having found influence from artists like Chris Squire, Jaco Pastorius, Geddy Lee, and Stanley Clark. This led Steve to eventually tour with the band, KillerHit, alongside his friend and bandmate, Mark Rambler, whom he says has influenced his love and passion for music even further. Steve is an avid history buff, and is absolutely enthralled by architecture and the stories hidden within old buildings and historical sites.

Joe Furnier: Drummer

Joe Furnier was born and raised in Union Town, PA where he was introduced to music at a young age by a family member of his who was in a band. He recalls listening to bands such as Led Zeppelin and artists like Pat MacDonald, and Donnie Marple, finding influence in their musical ability. His passion and love of breaking drumsticks (and nearly hitting bandmates with shrapnel) grew and grew until eventually he joined Fast Lane years ago; the rest is history. Joe is a very quirky guy; he eats all of his meals backwards! Yes, really! Dessert first every time! When he’s not killing it on the drums, Joe likes to ride motorcycles through the countryside and works on cars in his spare time.
